Dale Prince, Director of Assured In-Home Care of Los Angeles, along with Carla Turney, Director of Assured’s Orange County Office, attended the Professional Fiduciary Association of California’s Educational Conference in San Diego from April 23rd through 26th, 2014. Assured In-Home Care was a sponsor for the event, as well as having an exhibit booth there. It was a time of professional growth, networking, building partnerships, and learning more about the need for advocacy in the field of care management.
A person may require a fiduciary when there is no one in that person’s “circle of trust/family” that is willing or able to take on the responsibility of “becoming that individual” when that person is unable to make medical or financial decisions on their own.
Assured is lucky to work with devoted fiduciaries who approach the care of family and loved ones from a deeply-rooted “team care management” approach. There are often many individuals working as one: home health, hospice, home care, and geriatric case management, so quality communication is of paramount importance. Fiduciaries work tirelessly to bestow care, effort, time and expertise to help those who have no voice.
Assured In-Home Care was proud to be a sponsor and participate in such an honorable and ethical congress of individuals.
